Very rare large Steiff Circus Elephant c 1950 |

Here we have a very rare piece of Steiff at its biggest! This fabulous Circus Elephant is in great condition considering he will most likely have been climbed on several times in his days! He is a great prop for seating bears, I have used him at several shows to display many bears and animals. He has a great posture in the kneeling position. His trunk has a steel rod through it which has poked through right at the base in his mouth. His eyes are glass white and black to give him a great look. His
feet are huge and his feet are card lined. Mohair coverage 98% plus. He would have had a red felt saddle. His Raised Script button is safely in his ear. He really is a special boy and we would love him to go out on display with lots of toys and bears to keep him company. Postage is not a problem in UK but he will have to travel by either courier or sea passage for USA etc. Europe is ok with Data post but his postage overseas will be minimum £75 he measures 24 inches to top of head! Please feel free to mail with questions, he is a great piece and if I had room....he would be staying! He needs to be fully appreciated . So if you have room for a large Elephant and would love to have fun with your displays, then here he is, he can pack his trunk in a flash! |
