This lovely little rare size 10
inch bear is Pod the Farnell, He dates c 1920's and has glass eyes with most
of paint worn off, stitched nose and mouth , is fully jointed with some
mohair wear all over as you can see. He retains around 60% mohair. He is a
real cutie and Auntie Dot mended a real boo boo on his tummy where the
squeaker had popped out through the mohair. The mohair in question was badly
frayed, so Dot has placed a "new" piece of old mohair on his lower right
tummy. You can see on his side discolouration on his backing fabric. But he
is still a very strong and appealing small early Farnell boy who has lots of
life in him. He will come to you with a little sweater that I shall find him
to keep him warm in these winter evenings. he is fully jointed.
