Fabulous Early c 1910 -15 White Farnell on the way!

To all you lovers of great early English bears, here is a treat, A 14 inch white Farnell boy who has faded to a soft blonde. He has original features including his flat boot button eyes which are slightly oversized, a feature of these early bears. remains of original web claw stitching on linen pads. Floss is pale beige as used on all white bears. Original nose stitching however mouth is missing, This can be replaced if you wish, but I have left him as is, for you to decide. Linen foot pads with wear to sides with basic stitched repairs to keep sound. This can also be restored for you if you prefer a neater finish, I know some of you prefer your bears in totally original condition. He has around 75% mohair coverage with good even coverage on head, legs and arms , the main wear and balding area is exactly where he would have been held by his adoring owner, around his middle, more to the back than front. He has a great expression and the high set ears of the earlier bears. As a Farnell fan, he is certainly one I would add to my collection, if I had room! More photos will be loaded, he just needs one more clean but wanted to put something on for you to enjoy!! |
