Please welcome this wonderful 20's Bing Bear to Blue Ribbon, He is named very aptly, Little Dennis after our handsome blonde Chihuahua. He has lived here for a while and he has the same sparkle in his eyes as our little Pup. Same Blonde mohair ( fur!) and a charm all his own, he is also a delightful 11 inch size bear so a mini man just like our Dennis. He does appear much bigger than a 10 inch Steiff as he is more robustly built. He is in good condition, with a very respectable coverage
of his soft clean blonde mohair. With some wear and thinning but still well covered. Most wear to outer arms but looks well on it! He stands a proud 11 inches tall and has the classic Bing piercing expression, original features and back leg seams . 1 original felt pad with three expertly recovered, with originals underneath. Overall in excellent strong condition, has kept all his claws and has a huge personality. He has a handsome profile with the classic 20s styling of this, my favourite German maker. His beautiful original back painted eyes can stop you at
50 yards! His true colour is most like bottom right picture, The light was playing tricks on us! He will make a superb addition to any collection and I hope that where so ever he lands, he will rest a while! A fine blonde boy who will be missed in the cabinets. I hope he will delight you as much as our Dennis does! |
