| This is a wonderful early American Bear in stunning condition, Coming from a private collection and originally purchased from us here. he is clean and has 98% mohair coverage with only minor spots of thinning, His foot pads are perfectly pointed as all good early Ideal bears should be! He dates c 1915 and has beautiful painted back glass eyes, a classic triangular shape head, perfectly proportioned limbs and a very endearing face. Remains of cloth nose and all of floss mouth and claw
stitching, He measures 12 inches tall and is a wonderful example of one of my favourite American Manufacturers, what a perfect Present at this time of year! You can see him pictured here with a few pieces of my American Memorabilia just to show how nice he looks with some "Home" accessories, and a of course my super Star, Billy Possum, Who is of course NOT FOR SALE!! |
