Smiley is a delightful early c 1907 white steiff with a great profile! he has a very long nose and a great expression, He measures 13 inches tall and has good mohair coverage to his body and arms with loss to his face and head as you can see. He has kept his FF button snugly in his ear and wears his soft angora sweater and pin back reminding us all to smile! He makes us smile here. He has original nose and mouth and claws in pale floss. Original boot button eyes, Pads to feet are excellent and his paw pads have bee recovered in a great soft striped fabric many moons ago. A very loveable Steiff character with button and a nice cabinet size. |
